Well, Fellow Citizens, over six years have elapsed since my last post. I have done nothing (except vote for Obama). I am glad to see the evil greedheads out of office, but that doesn't mean that their stench has dissipated. By no means has it lessened. In fact, its aroma is most recognizable as our rotting economy.

There is no apparent end to Bush's bullshit. Now, he's asking the U.N. to lift the sanctions. This should have been done years ago. His shit makes me despise the current administration. And, the company that pays Dick Cheney $1 million a year is the company that got the (non-competative) contract to rebuild Iraq. It will be worth billions in the long run. How coincidental, eh? THis sort of malfeasence goes on and on and nothing seems to stop it. How can our entire nation be so blind? How can the Democrats be so gutless? Why doesn't anyone call them on this shit? They are all evil, murdering, thieving cock-suckers. It is in our country's best interest to OUST THE EVIL GREEDHEADS!!! (In a legal manner, of course.) Vote those fuckers out of office. 2004 is just around the corner. We must remove this administration at all costs.

While listening to the news on the radio, I heard an interesting bit about "Odious Debt" relief. The conversation on the radio was about the amount of money that Iraq owes to the rest of the world because of Saddam Hussein. And, when you factor in the cost of the current war, the Iraqi people will be in the neighborhood of $250 billion (US$) in debt. Of course, this includes the cost of the current war because the loser always pays. Hmmmm..but since the whole point of this war is to turn the Iraqis into a nation of democratically minder winners shouldn't we pay the bill, or at least go "dutch" this time?

Back to the point: "Odious Debt" is what a government, when in power, amasses in loans, trade imbalances, etcetera, after it falls from grace. This whole "Odious Debt" can 'morally', if not legally, be written off by the new (improved) government, if they can prove that none of the monies owed were ever used for the benefit of the populace. But, then this new (improved) government will find it rather tough finding someone the money to rebuild their country.

This got me to thinking about if this old government was so corrupt and venal in the first place, why in the fuck did the world banking community loan them the money in the firat place? And more specifically, if the whole world has known that Saddam Hussein was such a brutal, murderous, no-good, lily-livered, yella' bellied, sonofabitch whyy did they loan him all of this money? Christ, I can't walk into a bank if I am a convicted felon and borrow enough money to make a phone call, but if I am a genocidal head of an oil rich Middle East nation, the world is my oyster.

So I guess when all is said and done, the Iraqi people will freed from the enslavement of a brutal dictator named Saddam for one named Crushing Debt.

Over 200 years ago Thomas Paine started a pamphlet (18th Century blogs) with the now immortal phrase, "These are the times that try men's souls." At the time, he was trying to drum up support for the Revolutionary War. I am using his phrase to do the exact opposite: I want everyone to think about this war in Iraq and what it's ultimate consequences will be.

We are fed tons of propaganda loaded with very emotional words like "freedom" and "liberty" and "despot" and "coalition." But, if you look closely enough, you'll notice that there is no substance to any of it. It's just like the Potemkin Villages that the Soviets through up for foreign journalists in the 1930's to prove how wonderful Communism was. Only now, Bush, Rumsfeld, Powell and Co. are building a Potemkin village composed of smoke and mirrors to justify their Empire Building.

Unfortunately, this facade is built from the flesh and blood of innocent human beings. I am not an apologist for Saddam Hussein: He's an evil man with a wicked agenda and he should be removed from power by the U.N. But, this has all been said before. What is missing, I think, the Truth.

Yes, that's right, the Truth. (Shit...another of those emotionally charged words that are so abstract that defining them is like trying to nail jello to the wall!) The Truth here is that George Bush and most of his cabinet should be tried for Crimes against humanity. They are, in my opinion, as insane as Saddam. They just have better tailors. Their actions are indicative of sociopaths. As a health care professional, I would recommend involuntary commitment and a thorough psychiatric evalution.

George has a problem with authority that is exacerbated by a poorly hidden drinking habit. Also, if you look closely at his more recent photos, you can see a fine coating of white powder just above his upper lip.

Donnie "Rummie" Rumsfeld is obviously impotent. He has all of the signs of chronic Viagra use and with the blisters on his palms his obsession with self-gratification screams out for therapy and some sort of OCB med like Zoloft, Paxil, or Effexor.

National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice can be spotted roaming the streets of D.C. wearing nothing but a coat made from the skin of a White Rhinoceros flashing school buses. I understand that she has a tattoo of Spiro Agnew on her torso and a third nipple.

But seriously, these people are all guilty of premeditated murder and every American (myself included) is an accomplice.
